4. The Role of Discipline in Spiritual Growth:
- Hebrews 12:3-13: God's discipline as evidence of love and training for maturity.

- Two possible responses to discipline:
1. Insensitively despising it.
2. Over-sensitively fainting under it.
- Viewing discipline as God’s grace and commitment to His children.

- Endure discipline and yield righteousness, remaining faithful.
- Rebel and risk falling away from God.
